Zoo Afterschool Program

The Zoo Afterschool Program (ZAP) is a collaborative effort between the Zoo and Omaha Public Schools, serving students from Bancroft, Castelar, and Pine Elementary schools. ZAP offers inquiry-based STEM learning designed to inspire curiosity, develop skills, and deepen appreciation for STEM and the natural world while supporting at-risk students with limited resources.

Open to current OPS students at partner schools, enrollment applications are available through each school. All required paperwork must be completed prior to participation, and a parent meeting is required before students can join the program.
