Reduce your wait at the gate and purchase your tickets ahead of time. The Zoo is open year-round except Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
Zoo Hours
November 4 - March 31
10 a.m. - 4 p.m. daily. Buildings will stay open until 5 p.m.
- Buildings will stay open until 5 p.m. with the exception of the Lied Jungle and Berniece Grewcock Butterfly and Insect Pavilion. The Lied Jungle closes at 3 p.m. Berniece Grewcock Butterfly and Insect Pavilion closes at 4 p.m.

April 1 - November 3
9 a.m. - 5 p.m. daily

Reciprocal Zoo Admission
Reciprocal admission visitors must bring proof of membership and ID upon arrival. Tickets are available in person at Guest Services or at Kiosk with assistance. Online tickets are not available. Click here to view the AZA Reciprocal Zoo Admission Program list.
We will follow our Household membership rules allowing 2 adults from the same household and up to 6 of their dependents.

Zoo Entrances
South (Main) Entrance
Open daily except Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
Located off of 13th Street and Burt Murphy Avenue. Nearby exhibits to the entrance include the Desert Dome, Kingdoms of the Night, Scott Aquarium and Lied Jungle.
North Entrance
Open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Located near 13th Street and Bob Gibson Boulevard. Nearest exhibits to the entrance include the Bay Family's Children's Adventure Trails, the Dick and Mary Holland Meadowlark Theater and Glacier Bay Landing.
