Omaha’s Wildly Bright Holiday Tradition returns! Zoolightful presented by Chesterman Co. Coca-Cola, begins on Friday, November 22 with festivities until December 30.
The Zoo will once again transform into a captivating world of dazzling lights and unforgettable holiday experiences for all ages. Featuring returning favorites like the igloos at Peppermint Pines and the larger-than-life light sculptures down Holiday Way, plus added experiences of a snowball toss and an extended footprint, Zoolightful 2024 is sure to be delightful! Guests can expect the following holiday magic:
- Polar Plaza – New for 2024, guests can play the coolest Snowball Toss in town while surrounded by a sparkling winter wonderland. Don’t forget to grab a holiday treat from our Plaza Café to warm up after the fun.
- Holiday Way – Stroll through a mesmerizing display of holiday lights illuminating the pathway with radiant archways and breathtaking light sculptures. New this year, see some of your favorite Zoo animals in lights with our brand-new animal light sculptures.
- Reindeer Game Zone – Enjoy a cozy cup of hot cocoa, take a spin on Sue's Carousel and let the little ones play in the light-up kids' zone. For the ultimate warm-up, reserve a private family-style igloo.
- Gingerbread Village – Get creative with gingerbread house-making and decorate sweet treats to your heart’s content. Order delicious holiday-themed food in our Durham TreeTops Restaurant and enjoy the festive atmosphere.
- Santa’s North Pole – Drop off your holiday wish list at the North Pole post and enjoy a complimentary visit and photo with Santa Claus himself.
- Peppermint Pines – Elevate your Zoolightful experience by reserving a private igloo for the evening. Guests will enjoy a specially themed retreat, tucked away just off the main pathway for a cozy, exclusive experience.
- Merry Magic Theater – Take a thrilling virtual reality adventure on the Merry Magic Sleigh Ride, then meet with holiday characters for more magical memories.
