Insect Adventure is crawling, buzzing and flying into Lee G. Simmons Wildlife Safari Park this spring. The all-new giant journey into their tiny world will feature 35 supersized animatronic insects and spiders. Guests can experience Insect Adventure when they purchase or renew their Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium and Wildlife Safari Park combo membership during the Black Friday sale starting Wednesday, November 27 and ending Wednesday, December 4.
Opening in May 2025, Insect Adventure features accurate, moving recreations of insects and spiders from around the globe. Guests can enjoy a self-guided exploration showcasing familiar favorites like monarch butterflies, honeybees and black widow spiders, while discovering unique species such as Madagascar hissing cockroaches and bullet ants. Access to Insect Adventure is included with a Lee G. Simmons Wildlife Safari Park membership.
When purchasing a combo membership, guests can see some of the larger-than-life insects featured at Insect Adventure at Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium by visiting the Berniece Grewcock Butterfly and Insect Pavilion, home to approximately 130 species of insects and arachnids.
